One of the goals of the digitization project was to ensure that anyone could easily check whether they were listed as a marshal, whether someone was a Marshal in Training (MiT), and when an individual’s warrant would expire. This information was most useful for our Minister of Lists, and interest was shown in opening this tool to the populace.
With that context, we are glad to announce that the Warranted Marshal Look Up tool is live and can be used to confirm a marshal’s current status, warrant expiry, or whether they are an MiT. Heavy marshals from Tir Mara, Northern, Central, and Southern Regions, as well as Combat Archery and Siege roster entries are available in the tool today. Records are being updated as quizzes for heavy marshals come in. The Office will continue to update records, and this tool will reference them dynamically.
The direct link can be found here, as well as under the Menu on the left of the Earl Marshal’s website – https://marshal.eastkingdom.org/index.php/marshal-lookup/
A note about privacy
Purposefully, very limited information is available from the look up tool. Only when a query is made will the tool return a gentle’s status as a marshal as warranted/MiT/expired/Not found, and the expiry date if a warrant is found. Incomplete member numbers will not work in the search. Modern names are not revealed, nor are they searchable. Expiry dates are now based on the grant of warrant, not on any other criteria.
We hope the populace finds this tool useful, and we appreciate your willingness to work with us as we move forward through our initiatives!
